COVID-19
COVID-19 Warning

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to sever illness. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

Health Acknowledgment

By entering Faith Heritage Christian School, you are confirming that you are not experiencing any of the following symptoms of COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at CDC.gov, including:

  • Fever or chills​

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

  • Nausea or vomiting 

  • Diarrhea

Students, staff, faculty, and guests who cannot confirm all of the above criteria are advised to refrain from entering FHCS until able to do so.

COVID-19 Procedures

We ask families to notify the school office when any person living in the same household tests positive for COVID-19. In this situation, students are expected to adhere to the following:

Symptomatic or COVID-19 positive students may not return to school until 5 days have passed since the onset of symptoms and the student is fever free for 24 hours. After 5 days, students returning to school should wear a face covering for at least 5 additional days if symptoms remain. Face coverings are not required if students no longer exhibit symptoms. Students may not return to school with a fever.

 

Asymptomatic students may attend school as long as they exhibit no symptoms of COVID-19 or have received a negative COVID-19 test.

Miscellaneous

Masks are not required, but individuals are free to wear masks if they prefer.

COVID-19 vaccinations are not required.

All FHCS activities and events are operating at full capacity.

Routine cleaning and disinfecting of FHCS property is continually emphasized.

Guests are not permitted in FHCS without an appointment, including parents.
