An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to sever illness. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

Symptomatic or COVID-19 positive students may not return to school until 5 days have passed since the onset of symptoms and the student is fever free for 24 hours. After 5 days, students returning to school should wear a face covering for at least 5 additional days if symptoms remain. Face coverings are not required if students no longer exhibit symptoms. Students may not return to school with a fever.
Asymptomatic students may attend school as long as they exhibit no symptoms of COVID-19 or have received a negative COVID-19 test.
